Cal Thomas delves into the Koran

I don’t think that any major religion is as much of an enigma as Islam.  From some we hear that it is a “religion of peace.”  From others we hear that the only three options a Muslim has when confronting a non-believer are “to kill them, convert them, or subjugate and tax them.”  Something has to give.

Cal Thomas had the opportunity to speak with a former imam about Islam.  “Former” imams among the living are in short supply because they face death threats for their heresy.

He goes by the name of Sam Soloman because of death threats from those not happy with the information he has about their plans to dominate the world.

Soloman is in double trouble. Not only did he abandon Islam and the terrorists’ objectives, he has also become a Christian, which has marked him for death.

Sounds peaceful so far!

Soloman:

There’s not a single verse in the Koran talking about peace with a non-Muslim, with the Jews and the Christians. Islam means submission. Islam means surrender. It means you surrender and accept Islamic hegemony over yourselves…

More:

He asks Americans to inform themselves about the real teachings of Islam and not to fall for what various Islamic groups say it teaches. Soloman says, “The simplest Islamic book you open” teaches that all unbelievers (in Islam) are profane people. “Because of the (Koranic) text and what it says, it incites violence.” He begins quoting verses from memory, too quickly to write them all down. One is, “Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.” (Surah 9:5)

Slay the idolaters!!!  Increase the peace!!!

Thomas talked to the spokesman for CAIR who claims that there are no verses in the Koran that advocate the killing of non-believers.  He added that verses from any religious texts can be used out of context.  Of course, when Christian zealots use verses out of context it is so that they can tell you that you are going to hell.  When Muslims take verses out of context they use them as justification for strapping a bomb to a child and sending him into a crowd.  Big difference.

Here’s your moral clarity

H/T to Best of the Web for finding this article (excerpt below).

My son spoke to his friend yesterday, and this is how he described it: “The village looked empty, and then we heard noises coming from one of the houses, so we opened fire. But when we went inside, we found two women and a child huddled in the corner of the room. We were so relieved we hadn’t hurt them. We took up base in one of the empty houses. And then all of a sudden, we came under intense fire. Three rockets were fired at the house we were in. Only one managed to destroy a wall, which fell on one of us, covering him in white dust, but otherwise not hurting him.

“I spent the whole time feeding bullets to my friend who was shooting nonstop. We managed to kill 26 terrorists. Not one of us was hurt. Our commanding officer kept walking around, touching everybody on the shoulder, smiling and encouraging us: ‘We’re are better than they are. Don’t worry.’ It calmed us all down. And really, we were much better than them. They are a lousy army. They only win when they hide behind baby carriages.”

Bank Data Sifted in Secret by U.S. to Block Terror

Any estimates on how long before some government official uses this capability for something other than tracking terrorists?
