Anyone who thinks Tim James is an empty suit has never sat down over a beer and talked to him. He understands economics and why we're in the mess we're in. He knows we need less government, less regulation on small businesses and less taxes to get us going in the right direction again. I've known many candidates in my life, but I've never known one who seems less like a politician than James. When he talks, he sounds like a business man and a concerned neighbor. He's the real deal.

You'll have to do better than that, Byrne Boy. Bradley has won only one straw poll and that one had more ballots than people who attended the candidate forum! Chicago-style politics.

Mr. James came to Huntsville, met with the folks who attended the GOP Men's Club breakfast and won the straw poll. Simple as that. He's for jobs creation, not more government. He's for making the education system teach kids how to read and write and understand math.

It's a far cry from the "governing by press release" that we've seen out of Mr. Byrne.

It's pretty surprising that James was actually there and only won by about 10-12 votes. The only straw poll to date with ALL candidates present (St. Clair) was won in a landslide by Byrne...

I don't get the support from James. From what I have seen, he comes across as an empty suit running on his daddy's name. I don't see him as a particularly effective governor.
