Super Teaching: Why is UAH involved with a “very dangerous con man?”

2009 September 2
by Brian

The University of Alabama in Huntsville has put up its credibility as an institution of higher learning as collateral to develop and market the invention of a twice convicted con man — and no one seems to be paying attention.

The “invention” in question is called Super Teaching (interchangeably used as one or two words).  Here is the description of this revolutionary learning system from the UAH website:

SuperTeaching is a multi-sensory instructional system designed to utilize computer generated audio and imagery in order to engage learners. The SuperTeaching system includes three screens positioned at the front of the room, which display images in a seemingly random pattern. The images included in the pattern roll are those of the instructor, learners, course content, and nature scenes.

That’s right, three screens with “seemingly random” images, which include nature scenes.  Hold your laughter at the notion that this is being proposed as an actual classroom teaching tool.

Super Teaching was introduced at UAH with some fanfare nearly a year ago.  In a bit of unintended symbolism the featured speaker at the unveiling of an unproven sensory overload tool was Tony Robbins, the motivational speaker of late night infomercial fame.

The story behind Super Teaching and the man who takes credit for inventing it is where this story becomes quite sordid.  The man’s name is Bernhard (or BJ or Berny or Bernie) Dohrmann.  He is a purveyor of membership based business networking and feel good seminars and lived in Huntsville until recently.  To say that he has a checkered past of business dealings would be a dramatic understatement.  From a 2002 San Francisco Chronicle article (Dohrmann used to operate in that area):

Thousands of Californians, including many from the Bay Area, are flocking to pricey business seminars in Los Angeles to learn how to launch their own companies.

That in itself is not unusual. What is unusual is that the fellow they’re turning to for guidance has been tangling with law-enforcement authorities for decades, including convictions for securities fraud and criminal contempt. More remarkable still, the man at the helm of Income Builders International has himself apparently never run a successful business. At least not until now.

And if Bernhard Dohrmann, a former Marin County resident based today in Alabama, has his way, his current focus on business seminars will soon shift to a scheme in which he wires up all schools with computers designed to “balance” the two sides of students’ brains.

Is this the land of opportunity or what?

Before Income Builders International, or IBI for short, found its stride, Dohrmann, 54, was known primarily for his involvement in a string of dubious business ventures.

“We think he’s a very dangerous con man,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Zanides said in 1995 when Dohrmann was sentenced to 28 months in prison for once again engaging in fraudulent business practices.

The article goes on to list two separate schemes that landed Dohrmann behind bars and a third that he settled out of court with the FTC.  His first criminal endeavor was selling “nonexistent” rail cars to investors.  He later served as an executive at a diamond trading company that went bankrupt.  He was charged with making false claims and guarantees by the FTC.  Here is how the Chronicle explained the third operation:

Around 1984, Dohrmann founded Invest America, which was supposed to become a nationwide network of independent financial planners. Invest America offered “business opportunities” — such as public telephones, solar heaters and “super-calf embryos,” for sale through its affiliated planners.

In September 1987, the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a civil complaint in U.S District Court in San Francisco alleging that Dohrmann and others violated federal securities laws in connection with one of the business opportunities it was selling.

To settle those charges a U.S. District Court judge in San Francisco permanently enjoined Dohrmann from future securities law violations.

From mid-1987 until mid-1988, Invest America sold about $3 million worth of unsecured bonds through its affiliated financial planners to about 233 investors nationwide.

In 1991, a federal grand jury indicted Dohrmann following a three-year investigation by the FBI, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s office in San Francisco.

Dohrmann was ultimately convicted on 16 counts.

At some point, Dohrmann began calling his company “IBI Global,” which is only slightly less redundant than IBI Global Worldwide. You can also read firsthand accounts of interacting with IBI Global here and here.

Undeterred, Dohrmann’s IBI Global company morphed into what is now known as CEO Space.  The Madison, Alabama based company with satellite groups scattered around the U.S. bills itself as “The Ultimate Resource for today’s CEO” and “a new model for executive training.”  If you take some time to peruse companies and individuals that are affiliated with CEO Space (formerly IBI Global) you quickly see that it is a collection of motivational hucksters with a penchant for jargony, but meaningless, slogans. And then there’s UAH.  A major accredited public university being used as the sole beacon of credibility by a company most reputable institutions wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole.  Who do you think is getting the better deal in that relationship?

Recently CEO Space has been pitching a “Sovereign Nation Program, which is designed for heads of state to purchase for their economic development.”  It claims that the program “helps develop real businesses that will generate $100 million in tax base over the next 24-36 months.”  Seems to be a very direct and difficult to substantiate claim.  The program is only a week, but have no fear!

For the host nation a week may not seem like enough time to host a program that will teach business leaders advanced collaborative techniques at a university level, MBA based forum. The solution, however, is simple. SuperTeaching. SuperTeaching was invented by Berny Dohrmann and is endorsed by the University of Alabama Huntsville.

SuperTeaching, itself, lends to the further economic growth of a country over the long run. When schools set up SuperTeaching labs and use these methods to teach young students, the results are the addition of citizens that are more knowledgeable and educated at a higher level. This, in and of itself, will contribute to the economic development of a nation because of the likelihood that these same people will go on to manage businesses in a more efficient, growth-oriented manner or even build and grow their own businesses, which further maintains and stabilizes economic growth.

Just the thought of such an individual spreading his ideas on free enterprise and entrepreneurship…  [Shaking head in disbelief]  And the grandiose, unproven claims about the “endorsed by the University of Alabama Huntsville” Super Teaching program… [Grrrrr]

Dohrmann uses a version of the three screen arrangement at his seminars and claims to have patented the systemA search of the US Patent Office for “Dohrmann” as either inventor or assignee of any patents yielded no results attributable to Bernhard Dohrmann.

There is absolutely no peer reviewed literature indicating whether Super Teaching is effective.  On the “Research” page of the UAH Super Teaching website there are two documents listed.  One is a paper written by Dr. Lee Pulos.  Pulos is a “best selling mind trainer” that has been affiliated with Dohrmann’s IBI operation in the past, hardly making him an unbiased academic offering up an honest assessment.  And his paper has never been subjected to the rigors of review by any of his peers.  The second piece of “research” listed is merely a description of a study being conducted by a doctoral candidate at UAH.  Maybe I’m viewing it with a jaundiced eye, but it seems to me that the study certainly intends on proving the Super Teaching concept and not dispassionately assessing its merits.

Prior to UAH’s involvement two Super Teaching classrooms were established, one at an elementary school in Michigan and the other at a community college in Utah.  The systems in each location have languished.  An employee from Michigan said it was fun for watching dog sled races, but the company stopped supporting it.  The equipment was provided to them free of charge.  The community college found the technology difficult to promote because of the background of the company (imagine that!).  Furthermore, their representative pointed out that the elaborate hardware arrangement they acquired with a grant can be displaced using a modern laptop.  Either no research was performed in either location or whatever data was collected may not have supported the claims and was subsequently buried.

I contacted the UAH Super Teaching office to find out more about Super Teaching.  UAH has entered into a “reverse technology transfer” between UAH, Dohrmann’s company, and a third company that would resell the final product.  Profits would be split between the three. The original Super Teaching equipment was gifted to the university.  UAH has performed renovations to the Salmon Library to create the “Super Teaching Living Laboratory” and have dedicated resources to update the technological components that comprise the system.  The UAH representative admitted there is a dearth of research, although he said Dohrmann’s company had a “good deal” of research.  The school asked Dohrmann to remove his research from the internet and redirect his various Super Teaching websites to the UAH domain.  When asked if the school was aware of Dohrmann’s “colorful” past the representative was quick to say the school was aware and that their lawyers carefully reviewed all agreements.  Supposedly, UAH will have their final product ready by the end of the year.

Personally, I find the arrangement disturbing.  First is the very relationship with someone as unseemly as Dohrmann.  Reputible universities should avoid business dealings with twice convicted businessmen by all means.  The UAH website’s interest form (PDF version here) includes an option to indicate that you are interested in a CEO Space seminar.  Is it really appropriate for the university to be driving business to Dohrmann’s company?  Second is the blind embrace for what is a completely unproven technology.  Universities should be performing research on such systems, not participating in a rush to market before a single scholarly paper has been authored.  Did they consider the “cost” of going down this path – using the school’s reputation as collateral – to field a system that, as a lay observer, seems so unbelievably ill suited for a class environment?

Fred, your elevator doesn’t seem to go all the way to the top. I can’t believe you expect us to think this is an officially sanctioned UN website. LOL!!!!

Of course you wouldn’t. You’re in the same camp as (or the same person as (Raz & Brian).
You probably feel that all of those on the site, other than Dohrmann are fake and that the link to the site from the UN home page, is “contrived”.

A SHORT STORY ABOUT COOPERATIVE CAPITALISM AND APPLES

There was an apple who set off on his own, to seek his fortune.
He creatively produced a “company” on paper, in Los Cruces, California. He claimed the product would make millions. You might say it did, but not for the investors. This apple raised about $5million dollars, and enjoyed a high standard of living.
The investors became impatient to see progress in the “company”, but instead they were chastised for investing so little. After all, what could an investor expect, who only contributed a mere $300,000?
It was time to relocate. The apple went to Los Alturas, New Mexico, and commissioned a custom 3400 sq. ft. house, with ALL the bells and whistles.
The apple continued his charade as an arrogent multi-millionaire. Alas! The well began to run dry, so this apple decided to reconcile with the tree. The tree had a plan, he called cooperative capitalism. He kicked in a few dollars (much less than the mere $300,000 or $5million), and threw together a prototype. This would take the “company” off the paper, and fend off the wolves at the door.
Here was an opportunity for the tree, so he rewarded the apple with a corporate hot seat of liability in his own sleezy company.
This appointment prompted the apple to assume that he was now an expert on cooperative capitalism and educational teaching methods, and he was happy to pass out the koolaid.
Cooperative capitalism did work. The tree has many branches, and was able to pull in over $38million in investments with the prototype. Did I mention the tree also enjoys a high standard of living, and also confronts any negative response with arrogence, “scare tactics”, and temper tantrums?
The $38+million is history…the books are cooked, but the apple and the tree eventually produced an inferior, Chinese product. The apple claims to maintain another house in China, but he has inherited the trees penchant for fabrication, so who knows or cares. I’m not easily impressed.
The product can be seen on Amazon.com-new or used…from $89 to $99. The apple CLAIMS 6000 sales. Do the math.

Every Story should have a moral,(even if the players don’t). This story has TWO morals:

*the apple does not fall far from the tree
*cooperative capitalism DOES work…but not for the investors.

You could direct any interested Federal agency to this site. (i.e. FBI, FTC, etc.) Bernhard Dohrmann is using his (felonious) securities background to scam “co-operative investors” and would be businessmen and inventors. This site outlines his current activities, and directs interested parties to the sites, where Bernie spins his “majic”. He lays out the lies, in black and white…throwing out the rope that will hang him.
Bruce Goldwell calls critics “DREAM KILLERS”. I call that crew EXPLOITERS of dreams, preying on gullible hopefuls, taking away more than their dreams. They take away their money, then BLAME their marks for not “succeeding”.
Too bad noone got the info on the people Bernie shook down in Pittsburg, for follow-up.
You can find abandonned blogs on line, from people who were going to document their “journey” to success. When they paid the fee, their “trip” was over.
I would rather remain “Razmatazz” for now, and just offer insight into the real world of Bernhard Dohrmann, separating fact from the fiction he presents.
I have not found any trademark registered for “Inventors University”, so no profile, either, but it has all the stank of Bernie.

There may be a few apples left, but I suspect they will all fall off…soon. Has anyone noticed the deep discounts, and the “guarentee”?

Bernie did his business primarily on the west coast and in the midwest, not wishing to soil his nest in Huntsville. For whatever reason, his interest has shifted to the northeast. Interesting.

The question should be asked, WHO is the man behind InventHelp? They play the shell game of reps and sponsors. Why can you not believe InventHelp had dealings with Bernie (whoops, is it Berny, now?) Water seeks its own level. Check out “Consumer complaints about InventHelp” at http://www.consumeraffairs.com/scam-alerts/inventhelp.html The FTC nailed them for $1.2Million, in 1994, and they have not changed their business plan. You may otherwise find it difficult to access, as they flood the net with inventhelp “scam sites”, that defend their reputation, and slam like companies. Bernie tactics.
After I peeked at the 2010 INPEX Trade Show (it’s annual), it seems the sites have closed up. http://www.inpex.com now shows an orange screen, declaring “this is not a business”, and “you are in the wrong place.” A necced woman appeared on another access site I had previously used.
If you are not distracted by the necced woman, and find your way to InventHelps’s trade show, 2010, in Pittsburg, you will find that CEO Space(Bernhard Dohrmann) is a proud sponsor of the INPEX Inventors University. Inpex exhibitors who take part in the seminars will receive a certificate from the Inpex Inventors UNIVERSITY and InventHelp. (you pays your money, and you takes your choice).
On his speaker profile, Bernie now claims to COACH stars like Tony Robbins, Lisa Nichols, and more. The subtle sale here is that with $$, Bernie can make you a hot air star, too. These people and more were previously included as TEACHERS at his “forums”. Its curious how his profile “evolves”, with almost undetectable changes in wording. That’s a CON.
On this profile, Bernie still claims to hold a patent for SuperTeaching, still advises the United Nations (what happened to the Federal Reserve and Nasa?), and is still producing a movie, 20 years in the making, of how the Feds screwed him. (Isn’t that ANOTHER contempt of court charge, in the making?) He still claims to be a former investment banker…in 20 countries…although it was his “investor” role that incarcerated him…TWICE.
He mentions his “new” CEO wife, and children, hoping everyone will forget the previous “loved ones”, he left scattered across the country, and he changed the CEO Space LOGO, hoping everyone will forget the IBI and Life Success Academy difficulties, and of coarse, he is now BERNY…not Bernhard, Bernie, or BJ.
All the money you saw changing hands is GONE, with a quick cook of the books. This year, you CAN have something to show…for a price, you can get a piece of paper with UNIVERSITY embossed on it.

    • Razmatazz on June 22, 2010 at 9:25 pm permalink

p.s. What would you bet, that the INPEX Inventors University is yet ANOTHER 501(c)3 “NON-PROFIT”, sucking up your tax dollars from the TITLE I education fund?

    • Razmatazz on June 23, 2010 at 8:20 am permalink

I had come up with another InventHelp company name: Straight Paths, Inc. At one time, Robert Susa was the CEO, bent at “repairing” the company image, after the FTC nailed them. It seems the easiest fix is to change the company name, and shuffle people around. Susa is now the director of Sales and Marketing, while Jim Folger is the CEO and regional director.
“Straight Paths” pulled up something like 191,000 sites…mostly religious, up front, so I finally gave up. Bernie also chooses his company names that will pull up unrelated organizations, that one might mistake had something to do with his “work”, and then he claims those backgrounds. His son chose “LaserShield”, which suggests he is the border defense guy…far from. InventTech regrets the confusion with InventHelp, etc.
Gene Quinn, a U.S. Patent Attorney, and the IP Watchdog.com guy, was sued by InventHelp, for exposing their scams. Unfortunately, the BBB only reports the previous 36 months, and people are ashamed to admit when they are scammed, because they are told they are to blame for their “failure”.
Bernie may have lost his UAH affiliation, but I suspect he continues to tap into Federal educational funds. He sponsors, and is the principle speaker for INPEX Inventors University, but I have not confirmed this organizations profile (not listed with the BBB). I wonder if any information can be found under a “trademark” registration.
Bernie fabricated a profile for his deceased father, and his father’s deceased “associates”, then carried on his “work”. Few people check Bernie’s claims, but he goofed, when he named specific organizations that his father “founded”…after all…can’t anyone google? Recently, he claimed that he “became his father”, in raising 9 children, to create a new image of “family man”. In truth, he had little or NOTHING to do with these unrelated people, but always had a lot to do with “other women”, during his numerous marriages. He has sent minors after perscription drugs from a local dealer, hosted minors at parties, providing alcohol, and encouraged minors to disrespect people. When at home (seldom), Bernie drifts in his own “space”, oblivious to anyone around him, bottomless cocktail in hand, cigar smoking, plugged into his laptop, ever “creating”. Con artists do not present a true profile…that’s part of the con. The trend is to group together, to support each other’s fairy tale.
Please do post, Jeanne…and hopefully, “save” some people. Better yet, the Feds have “readers”, and maybe they will connect the dots.

    (undated)LICENSE AGREEMENT signed by:

Monte Sano Associates Vice President, Mr. Mark Moorehead
Life Success Academy President and CEO, Ms. Lynn Dohrmann

    Agreement Executed (and dates):

UAH Vice President of Research, Dr. Ron Greenwood 12/11/07

Monte Sano Associates Vice President, Mark Moorehead 12/14/07

Stamp of approval: John O. Cates 12/11/07

Where’s the Devil? He hides behind his “loved ones”, by placing them in the corporate hot seats of liability.
Why was he so willing to assign the SuperTeaching patent to his (ex)wife to enter into this contract?

    HERE’S THE CON:
Big money was never expected in SuperTeaching sales. SuperTeaching is a scam, only a FRONT enabling Bernie to dip into that $700million taxpayer fund, his own personal cookie jar of TITLE I monies, thru a 501(3)c “nonprofit” company, which “POWERS” CEO SPACE. YOUR tax dollars, in this TITLE I fund supports Bernie’s arrogent, excessive, entitled “beautiful people” (in his own words) lifestyle.

Is THAT WHY YOU PAY TAXES?
Bernie has DEEP pockets, while our education budgets suffer.

I had not remembered the name correctly: it’s Anthony Dohrmann (is he named after Anthony “Tony” Robbins?) not Adam Dohrmann, and his marketable super gizmo is called Lasershield. I remember his moving to AZ to sell his new product, supposedly helpful with the border problem in AZ. Maybe the Huntsville leaders can get some from Lynn Dohrmann to put across the AL-FL border to keep Berny and September quarantined inside the Sunshine State, away from Title One money. I wonder if he’s figured out a way to squeeze Superteaching dollars from Florida’s “Race to the Top Money?”

    Here is the Lasershield site:

    http://www.siteselection.com/features/2007/may/usMexicoBorder/

Looks like the previous Mrs. Dohrmann was left holding the bag. Well, I won’t get out the Kleenex. After all she still has her water purification kits and Anthony can help out with proceeds from the sale of shields.

Does anyone know how much Dohrmann has made from schools? How much is Title I?

  8. Razmatazz on June 3, 2010 at 6:45 am permalink

Lasershied is not related to border security. They are individual units, with the target market being DORM rooms and OFF CAMPUS apartments. (get it?) They are listed as a CEO Space product, with deep cut pricing on AMAZON, new and used.
The apple was the product of a MUCH previous union than Lynn. It seems this apple does not seem to be currently listed as co-CEO of CEO Space. (Sweet September is now listed singly as the target of liability for CEO Space.) Perhaps the apple reconciliation was maintained just long enough to pull in the $38+million in “co-operative capital”.
The $38+million dollar question is, “where’s the money???” My best guess would be that its off shore. (WHO is getting ready to RUN?)

TITLE I is a taxpayer, FEDERAL fund, earmarked for education. The irony is, that this Federal money may have also paid the $1 million Federal fine for security fraud. Bernie brags that $700 million is available for his use…for “reasonable” salaries and expenses as blueprinted by the Feds. CEO Space is powered by the “non-profit” company, IBI Global, which “sponsors” Life Sucess Academy another Dohrmann “non-profit”. Aside from the “co-operative capitalism” investors, and the possibility the Learning Trust is still sucking, we are looking at more than double-dipping, from YOUR TAX DOLLARS. Luxury travel abroad is presented as “business expense”. We are not talking MOTEL 6, here, or just a couple of people. Bernie’s “market” expanded “worldwide”, so his playground would not be limited to the States.

Mike Ashmore signed out. He avoided answering the questions of how much “reasonable” salaries and expenses were under “non-profits” receiving Federal funds, how much money is moved through such companies, and how their organization benefits anyone, aside from filling an empty seat at an ANNUAL conference.

Looking at the products fronted by such “non-profits”, MADE IN CHINA dominates. We as citizens are schmucks, not demanding accountability for our tax dollars. We are supporting the excessive, all the bells and whistles, “beautiful people” lifestyle. We are funding convicted felons, in yet ever bigger CONS. The UAH contract is still being used as validation of educational activities. UAH administrators are still listed as CEO Space personnel.

I am not, never have been, and never intend to be a Bernie’s, whatever his company is named at presnt, member. Therefore, he has never cast me out. I am not someone who vowed revenge, for whatever reason he imagines. (Apparently, he forgot to instruct someone to wear an expensive taylored suit to steal.) He has yet to deny his current cons, on this site or in his rambling discourse on his friend’s, davesblogthingy. Like a robot, he recites more senseless dribble, and promotes himself with “facts” that are EASILY discredited.
In all fairness, I felt it was important to let the readers discover the correctness of that portion of this blog title, which identifies Bernie as a “dangerous con man”. He is the same person he was 40 years ago, and has continued his life’s work as a con artist. That’s all he knows how to do. Review this site for specific details of his deceptions, and outright lies. Visit his MANY sites for a chuckle, and research his claims for yourself.
If you want to join a warm and fuzzy cult, mortgage your house and buy a membership to Bernie’s club, or become a “cooperative capitalist” and pour that money directly into Bernie’s pocket, or if you fancy calling yourself an entrepreneur to validate your existence…then ignor this “heads up”.
I expect Bernie is destined for another Federal vacation (does 3 times you’re out apply to the Feds?). History tells us, he never falls alone…he takes his peeps with him. Kind of makes you THINK, doesn’t it?

Jeanne, welcome aboard! It’s been exciting to read your posts, which are very helpful. I would like to communicate with you off-line. As soon as I finish my current project, I will do some research based on the information you have provided. Raz, thanks for all your excellent input also.

I believe the Bernie Empire is about to implode. I predict soon it will be so easy for anyone anywhere on the globe to find exposes’ on BJ that he won’t be able to find a new market unless it’s so remote that the place doesn’t have internet access. Already the internet provides a recent and quite well written expose’ at Inside Higher Ed, which was reprinted online by none other than USA Today (who would have dreamed they would be interested in a story about ol’ Berny and his Superteaching scheme?) and all this great info on Flashpointblog. Guess what–today a little birdy told me there will soon be another expose’. Wow, then Mr. Dohrmann will be more exposed than the streaker in the old Ray Stevens video. Berny better be stocking up on his favorite cigars, but he won’t need to worry about packing any of his fancy suits or elevator shoes; all his sartorial concerns will be provided by the feds for many years to come.

Hope that’s true. Justice is a long time coming. I suspect someone is getting ready to run, with offshore stashes ready, and have been expecting it for awhile.
Jeanne threw out the name, Martin Berger, who it turns out, is the founder of Invention Submission, Corp., parent company of InventHelp and IMPEX (although that trademark was abandoned 8/8/2003).
You can get a view of Berger’s “troubled past” from Inventor’s Digest posts:
      http://www.inventorsdigest.com/?p=1864

A good read is Inventor Ed’s Inventor Resource Internet Pages, Information…(InventHelp lawsuit)
      http://www.inventored.org/caution/isc/friedman.html
Two words stood out for me: RACKETEER and CORRUPT That says it all.
Racketeering is ORGANIZED crime, and the most accurate description of Bernie’s activities.
I know you will give us a heads up, when Bernie hits the news, again.

ps. I don’t think the Feds will let Bernie smoke his Cubans…they are still illegal in the U.S. He needs to check in to rehab, and get on the wagon, because his bourbon is contraband, too. Maybe next time, they will keep him away from their computers, and his “business” will die.

A few years back, Bernie WAS looking for an “enforcer”, but he spends his spare time in court. They’re all lawyered up, and the third article I mentioned above (the good read by Inventor Ed)states that the closer than business client/lawyer relationship constitutes racketeering. They hope you will just “go away” if they put you off. Mention the BBB and the FTC, rather than a lawsuit, and you might get some results, especially if you follow through. If Bernie pocketed your cash, he is already spending it…overseas, most likely. Can you stop a check?

One of the posts this evening about a phony university reminded me that Berny claimed to have been the president of American Pacific University, (they just changed their name to Kona University), around 2002 or so.

Hmm,would that be just about the time he was in prison in AL? I’ve heard of distance learning, but learning from a “university” with a president in Talladega Prison is really way out. And he was certainly situated a long way from Hawaii.

This “university” offers some weird majors, like NLP. I remember when I looked at it a year or so ago, they had one degree that you could get in about 9 days. I can see how Berny would have been perfect for the job. Tony Robbins is mentioned on their website. The current president, who looks about 16 years old in his photo, helped train Tony, Berny’s endorser, the expert who flew to UAH to be the keynote speaker at the Superteaching unveiling. Imagine, President Williams was really impressed with Tony’s endorsement. Ditto Dean Luquire. Yes, I feel like I know Tony. Whenever I can’t sleep at night and turn on the TV about 3 am, who inevitably shows up for a cheery late night info-mercial but good old Anthony “Tony” Robbins, the big guy who can talk faster than Berny can type. What about the other CEO Space experts, those “stars” like Jack Canfield and Lisa Nichols with their “Secret” and that UN ambassador from the Caribbean country who not so eloquently gave a pitch for cooperative capitalism? Are they worried about being entangled with Berny when the feds appear? Especially the ambassador–is he involved with the Sovereign Nations scam?
All this is just too much. Someone should write a book, not just an article.

On his IMPEX profile, Bernie smoothly changed Tony Robbins, Lisa Nichols and others’ status in his organization. They went from being his forum instructors, to being the people he MENTORED (inference: to success). They may be a new crop of “tar babies” he will exploit forever.
While Bernie was in prison, he managed to stay on line, conducting “business”, as well as when he was on parole…although his internet use was strictly prohibited. (moldy lungs from his basement hideaway). He did have a LOT going on in Hawaii, and returned to vamp it up, in recent years, appointing a chapter “president”. To explain a gap in his finances to a “loved one” – he said he paid off a woman there, with a $million estate. She claimed him to be her baby-daddy. He does not count that one in the “nine”.
There was a recent scandal, where such paper mill universities were used as credentials for employment and promotions, even in high security government jobs. Perhaps this is the basis for his claims of being the force behind the Federal Reserve and Nasa.
Bernhard Dohrmann claims to be turning the world economy around, by instructing International Heads of State, in a one week program. Dangerous? Yes, I would use the label, “CRIMINALLY INSANE”.
No doubt the American Pacific University was ANOTHER 501(c)3 non profit, sucking up that taxpayer fund. No wonder there is little money left for legitimate public school education for our children!
Like I said…History tells us, Bernie never falls alone…he always takes his peeps with him.

According to SPOKES DIRECTORIES, Bernhard Dohrmann, listed as BJ Dohrmann is listed as the co-FOUNDER of InventHelp.

This site seemed full, and did not print additional comments for awhile. You can find useful information overflow and references, posted on 2 other flashpoint articles/blogs, related to SuperTeaching. I hoped you saw the InventHelp co-Founder info I posted on other sites. BJ Dohrmann is NOT a “sponsor” of InventHelp’s INPEX seminar…he is the co-OWNER!

When Bernie scams people, they are reluctant to complain, because they entered into a “shady” deal, to start with.

I am headquartered in Cape Canaveral and was approached about ceo space. It only took me 5 minutes to do my research that this crook (Bernhard Dohrmann and his associates) need to be dealt with by the Justice Dept. After reading all of these post – what is keeping the FBI, FTC and Justice from doing their job?

Re: Raz’s comments about Ms. Rissman: Her pitiful little talk paled in comparison to the high energy speech of info-guru Tony Robbins at the unveiling of Superteaching at UAH in Oct. 08. I wondered at the time how the poor little thing ever got a job at UAH. Was she already involved with Berny when she was hired at the University? Are she, Mark Moorehead, and Wilson Luquire still employed? I think UAH needs a complete housecleaning of all Berny’s team, including David Williams. Their participation in the Superteaching affair is an embarrassment to UAH and the state of Alabama.

Sometimes diverse locations and decades obscure the threads connecting tragedies.
In the 1980s, Corine Ann Christensen, keeper of the “inner circle” records, was murdered by Richard Wayne Bandler. This cult participated in cocaine trafficking, prostitution, NLP, and pedophilia. With her murder, all records, and then court records were “lost”. Witnesses had fatal “accidents” or simply disappeared. Tony Robbins, Bernhard Dohrmann, and the same Richard Bandler “educated” James Ray at the American Pacific University…NLP crap. This is the same James Ray of the “sweat lodge deaths”. Darren Mack murdered his wife, and shot the judge. He was Bernie’s prodigy and speaker, at the IBI Global “forums”. Charla broke from Bernie’s cult, and wanton lifestyle, wanting to raise her daughter “right” while Darren still wanted to drink the koolade. This was a BIG part of their discord. Before this murder hit the press, Bernie had taken his big eraser, and all that remains of Darren’s connection to IBI, is his IBI briefcase, seen on the evidence list.
Let’s get to Amy Bishop. She did work involving neurons…how the brain works. Her husband, James Anderson, was the IEEE at UAH. IEEEs do the work necessary for a computer sytem to receive accreditation. Does anyone have a timeline for his departure from UAH? He received a grant from the Huntsville Angel Fund to start a company to develop and market Bishops cell growing thingy invention. Bernie makes frequent references to his “angel fund” on his web sites.
Bobbi Jo Rissman is the GRADUATE STUDENT who was supposed to do the study report on SuperTeaching at UAH, and was a member of Bernie’s The Learning Trust. We already know Wilson and Luquire’s roles. CONSPIRACY? I think so. Racketeering? what else could you call it?

I think you have told us more than we want to know about the Superteaching gang including that they truly are a “gang” of thugs. They are more “dangerous” than the headlines of Flashpointblog indicated. Three things: where are the other Superteaching sites you have posted on, and what about Mark Moorhead. I find him quite intriguing especially his very booooooring videos on CEO Space and his Facebook entries. Was he an employee of UAH or just paid by Superteaching? Is he still at UAH? Why won’t Huntsville Times cover this?

    Hear Berny’s “real story.”
Dated July 10, 2010. Berny tells how he started as a boy from a wealthy family with a golden
spoon in his mouth. Later Berny discovered juries hate stock brokers, and he explains how his friend since 3rd grade became a prosecutor and put him into prison. It was all “God’s plan.” Berny was just like Joseph who ended up in Pharoah’s court. He tells how he has saved 1800 teens from committing suicide and now they are now successful. One became rich in only 48 hours under Berny’s guidance. Why is Berny avoiding the word “Superteaching?” It’s almost like the new cooperative-capitalist Berny with the scruffy beard and new young thing wife September has forgotten Superteaching ever existed. Hmmm, I bet Dr. Williams wishes he had never heard of it either.

I’m looking forward to seeing the life of Berny starring Russell Crowe . I wonder if it will be in 3-D. It would almost have to be to convey the wonder of the man.

  20. Razmatazz on July 21, 2010 at 1:46 pm permalink

I have posted on pretty much every site dealing with SuperTeaching, except those owned by Bernie or associates. Most recently, I outlined the history of this cult on http://www.tvweek.com/news/02/tony_robbins_lands_nbc_reality.php
    7/17/2010 TV Week In Depth
Tony Robbins Lands NBC Reality Show (by Josef Adalian)
NBCs Dateline has featured the (incomplete) stories of James Ray, Darren Mack, and Amy Bishop, without ever connecting the dots, beginning with the “Inner Circle”, in the 80s. NBC aired the “All things Oprah turns to chet” programs, hosting James Ray and the “secret” cult members, featured speakers at Bernie’s forums. They need to do a story on Richard Bandler, Bernie’s and Tony”s close associate, and find their current connection to Richard Robertson, child molester and film producer.
Bernie’s newest profile, obviously written by himself (he cannot spell business) that you refer to, Liz, is soooo watered down, thanks to his exposure on Brian’s sites. He has become , quite simply, “an author”…in this newest profile,… he did not claim to be a NYT best selling author, he did not claim to be the “force” behind NASA, the Federal Reserve, the Pentegon, etc., and he did not drop names (have they run for cover?). He seems to be in the process of reinventing himself…again. I wonder if he has edited his other sites, in an attempt to cover his patootie. Quite simply, his claims are fraudulant, so perhaps Oprah will host Bernhard Dohrmann who claims to have saved 1800 children from suicide. Like his associates, James Ray and Tony Robbins, he can perform the “walking on hot coals” magic. The truth is, his cult has a history of pediphilia, not salvation. Aside from stashing cash, one could wonder at this group’s current…and frequent activities overseas…are they still into cocaine trafficking, and perhaps graduated from pediphilia to human trafficking? They do have the history, the opportunity, the greed, and the “anything goes” profile to continue such “business”.
If you research other SuperTeaching sites, you may get additional info…posting on numerous sites insures that anyone looking at anything remotely connected to this bunch will see information they need to know, before they become involved in their scams.
One of the latest scams involves “rescoring” your credit. Bernie’s group will set you up on payments for 12 months to pay for this “service”. You will then be able to secure a substantial loan to join the “CEO Space” adventure, and have enough left over for Bernie, so he can help you realize your dream. Your dream becomes a nightmare, when you discover that Bernie has your “rescoring” fee, your loan proceeds, and will profit from the interest you owe on your loan. Where are all the “rich people” he helped? InventHelp, co-OWNED by Bernhard Dohrmann (listed as BJ Dohrmann), has been accused of racketeering and corruption. He hides his ownership in MANY shady companies.
He preys on the elderly, advising them to sell ALL of their property. He will put their cash in a safe place, so they will be well off when they return to earth, in their next life.
Have you visited his “Law of Attraction Center”, online, yet? To quote Bernie, “Better the devil you know, than the one you don’t”. I think he is claiming to be Satan for the “new thought community”. He could certainly be called the devil’s advocate. ( Tony Robbin’s son has made his debut here.)
I don’t think “too much” information can be presented about this “dangerous con-man”…share your information, so his true profile will appear as frequently as HIS fraudulant sites. There were several cancellations to this month’s “forum”. Such posting has already saved many people from being scammed, or worse.

Now I see what they had planned at UAH:

    “Trance-forming “American schools via NLP/Superteaching.
Remember the collection of biographies on “Transformations” which had a chapter on Berny? It was written by former Huntsville church consultant for the Delphi technique, Hugh Ballou. Hugh is one of Berny’s boys, even in a video or two, at CEO Space. Hugh looks spiffy in a tux as he conducts the orchestra. Probably how he met two other of Berny’s boys in Huntsville–Dean Wilson Luquire (with the Huntsville symphony) and Superteaching’s own project mgr, Dr. Mark Moorehead, a noted local musician. Mark’s Facebook used to have a photo of him and his friend. Someone said this is Mark in this you-tube. You gotta admit he’s funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itCcOh0MZo4 Since he’s a church organist, it’s surprising to hear his jokes about churches.

Thanks, Raz, would never have figured this out without your expose on Bandler.

Don’t forget the AKA man’s input, with his audio/visual sublimination. (Bruce Barbre AKA Bruce Goldwell). This cult has ALL the earmarks of organized crime, dating back decades.
Their involvement in cocaine trafficking, prostitution, mind control, money laundering, off- shore banking, and infiltration of government agencies, as well as the shaking down of tax-payer educational funds and the general population should not be legitimized by television networks or educational institutions, that promote them as icons.
Just as Bernhard Dohrmann fraudulently claims to have raised 9 children, he and Tony Robbins claim to have saved thousands of children from suicide, and cozy up to church leaders who can be bought, in order to create an image. Strong ministers have rejected their bribes, citing “bad money”. Others have faltered grieviously (Rick). It is most accurate to say BLOOD MONEY. It is beyond contempt, that they have AGAIN chosen troubled children and their parents as their next marks. They will “rescore” their credit, to maximize their haul.
All of this hocus-pocus occupies enough attention to camoflage their international drug trafficking and sex trade business.

Mark Moorehead is ONE of the founders of Monte Sano Associates (one can guess the other hidden owners). The purpose of this company is to enhance and market SuperTeaching…What UAH was supposedly doing.
Mark Moorehead has a masters degree from the University of Alabama School of Library and Information Studies, and has served in the past as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Alabama.

We might have gotten some insight into the financial irregularities of Bernhard Dohrmann’s CEO Space, but their Madison CFO, (John) Scot Armstrong died at home April 25, 2010. So many secrets…so many graves.
Did anyone follow the federal Innocence Lost Task Force report on the infiltration of child pornography into high security federal agencies and high ranking military workers? A 10 year investigation followed over 5,000 individuals involved. This infiltration puts the Defense Department “at risk of blackmail, bribery, and threats”. The “Inner Circle” has been in this business since the 80s, under the leadership of Richard Robertson…another “secret” preserved by the death of Corine Christensen in 1986.
(Bernhard Dohrmann claims to be the force behind the Pentegon, the Federal Reserve, NASA, and the United Nations.)

  24. Liz on August 1, 2010 at 3:53 pm permalink

Again, I ask why isn’t anyone on the UA Board of Trustess asking for an investigation? Are they waiting for the feds to do it? And again why is local media asleep at the wheel instead of demanding an investigation? All the work has been done–investigators need only to read Flashpointblog (or USA Today or Inside Higher Ed) and they’ll know exactly where to begin. Even reading the university newspaper would be a great start–that small group has been a real voice for the students and I commend them. Maybe we just need to get Raz a sheriff’s star and let him clean up “Dodge.”

Don’t forget to investigate SirsiDynix; before its merger with Dynix, Mark Moorehead was a project mgr with Sirsi. Sirsidynix was sued not long ago by a very large public library in NYC. SirsiDynix is a partner with MuseGlobal and they have a project mgr named Mark Moorehead . Is he the same Mark Moorehead?
    http://www.museglobal.com/news/news.php?content=2008_innews/20080515.html

Is he the same Mark Moorehead who impersonates “Betty Butterfield” in all those campy you-tubes? There are a bunch of You-Tubes of “Betty”.
    http://www.blingcheese.com/video-63/miss+betty.htm

Here he is at CEO Space:
http://www.ceospace.net/videos.htm You’ll need to scan all the way down to the bottom of the page, to Superteaching, to see him. He’s in two of the last six videos. He would look a lot like “Betty Butterfield” if he put on sunglasses, wig and red lipstick.
