Redeye – where do I say that I “hate liberals”? I say that I “hate litter” and that I “despise liberals”. Part of the reason I despise you people is that you can’t understand something without mis-stating or twisting it.

I’m not a good enough Christian to say that I love the sinner (liberals), but I do hate the ’sin’ of liberalism (as expressed by socialists). Socialists kill people and I love people. I sincerely hope you people wake up.

I really do hate litter (but not litterbugs – see how that works?).

Twelve guys and their followers a long time ago did fairly well with it. But even they had to wind up appointing deacons to handle distribution.

Currently, the monastic communities do alright with it but their voluntary lifestyle depends a lot on outside money

Modern socialism is good at population control, re-distributing wealth upwards, equalizing misery, and has produced some fine weapons (AK-47) and other methods of political persuasion. So don’t sell it too short.

Try to marginalize the thoughts I presented all you want, but this is red meat for many Republicans. The socialists in the Democratic Party are overreaching and there will be a ‘reaction’.

I cannot find anything “constructive” to say about socialism…

I believe there are legitimate gripes to be had with regard to “cap & trade”, but I think you miss the boat as far as bringing those to light. In fact, I would call most of what you say “reactionary” rather than constructive. But, point in fact, Alabama’s ethics laws are a joke and so are our PAC laws. I won’t go through the overall looniness of most of the post because it would just take far too long.

Tal East – you just don’t get it; this is what many of us believe – we think you people are destroying the country and we’re going to fight it. Keep in mind that I’m not the most conservative person in the room, whether I’m at a big GOP meeting or in a room with GOP elected officials / candidates…

BTW, what were “the good points”? I’m interested in your opinion…
