Kay Ivey to make it official on Wednesday

She is going to be running for governor of Alabama.
Here is a list of the campaign stops she’ll be making on Wednesday, the 24th:
- 8:30 a.m. – Montgomery, State Capitol South Lawn, Avenue of Flags
- 11:00 a.m. – Birmingham, Statue of Liberty, Liberty Park
- 2:00 p.m. – Huntsville, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, “Pathfinder” Display
- 5:30 p.m. – Mobile, Oysterella’s Seafood Restaurant, 1175 Battleship Parkway, Spanish Fort

I’m sorry, I just don’t see how this is a good idea. She seems like a perfectly nice lady, but she faced an uphill battle before the PACT implosion. Now there is no hope.

I heard that as well. I’m really not saying this to be ugly, but if CBG runs for the AL-05 then she needs her head examined. First the huge, demographic defying loss to Parker Griffith for State Senate. Then just two years later a downright embarrassing campaign to be the GOP nominee just so Griffith could spank her again. Running again would be the definition of insanity.

The funny thing was, I liked Baswell-Guthrie…. then I heard her talk and well it just went down hill from there.
One might also say, “I liked CBG… then I saw her in a commercial with a monkey…”
I think someone should bring a tranquilizer gun to Kay’s announcement so she can be immobilized and sent to Bryce where she can get the help she so obviously needs.
This is insane. Dangerously insane. Are they keeping her away from sharp objects?
