At 3am. papers concerning the cap and trade bill were added to the bill.
Hidden away was a law if passed to not let anyone sell their home until it is inspected by an agency of the govt. You the taxpayer must pay for the inspection
and if your house does not meet the standards of the govt. you can not sell
until it is brought up to standards. These will include energy efficient appliances
and thermal pane windows along with proper insulation.Bathtubs,commodes.type of heat and you name it. This is a dangerous bill and must be stopped.
It would of failed except 8 people who were not Democrats were bought off by
the President. One from Florida sold his vote for a new plant in Orlando, Fl.
I thought vote buying was illegal.

The minute we turn our backs on Israel, God removes his blessing from us. Have you read a Bible lately?

The above statement is what you would expect from the member of a cult..........ingrained from birth

Invisible man in the clouds running the show....I bet if you were of age you voted 2 times for George bush... he claims god told him to run for President...hilarious..

Jennifer do you watch Fox news more that one hour a week?

What do we get in return for the tax dollars we send to Israel?

According to the Christian Science Monitor....$1.3 Trillion since 1948.

The bible is a book of fairy tales not the word of god ...the bible has been rewritten numerous times and according to scholars many of the recorded event were recorded 300 and 400 years after the fact.

Why did the Romans rewrite the bible creating the new testament.....Didn't like the other so the made up their own.

Sean Hannity reported 3,000 were at the Huntsville rally. Whether it was 2K, 2300, 3K, whatever, it was a great lunchtime crowd with basically word of mouth to tell people about it.

Well put Ms. Ivey! As Milton Friedman said, "To spend is to tax." Our government HAS to stop the out of control spending (I don't care which party is responsible) because it will have to be paid for someday.

And yes, private companies should be allowed to prosper or perish based on their own merits. We do not need to use tax dollars taken from the "winners" to prop up the "losers."

I am glad I went yesterday. I have never been to a political protest or demonstration, but I am glad I went. I am a thirty-something year old female. I do not listen regularly to conservative talk radio, but when I was driving back from Atlanta on a business trip, I was flipping through the radio stations and I learned of the Tea Party.

I don't care what Obama and his administration say about lowering the tax burden on me right now. If you can do simple math, it is obvious we are spiraling out of control economically and more government is not the answer. I know my taxes will be raised in the future to cover this crazy debt we are creating for ourselves. I know inflation is on the horizon which should trouble anyone on a fixed income.

If the heads of companies make poor investment decisions... the government should not bail them out just because of their financial size or influence. If a private corporation can no longer compete (and usually this kind of thing does not happen overnight), the govenment should not bail them out either.

America is a land of sucess and failure. Failure drives one to do better next time. It isn't death. People can, and will overcome.

Republicans and Democrats - stand together and be fiscally responsible! This is insanity!

What bothers me greatly is that President Obama consistantly mentions: that he Inherited
this situation; that these problems have grown over the years; and, most unnecessarily,
apologizes for America, Americans..which includes me and I do not need anyone else
to apologize for me..for things like being "Arrogant", etc.. My question is: How did he vote,
When he voted other than PRESENT, on these policies 'that he Inherited' ? What does his
voting record actually say about how he stood up for We Americans ?

I sure wish I could have been there, but I was glad to send some signs. The Montgomery rally was excellent, too.
