The Terrorists formerly known as “enemy combatants” might not only be released in the US, they’re going to get paid:
“If we are to release them in the United States, we need some sort of assistance for them to start a new life,” said National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair at his first press conference.
“You can’t just put them on the street,” he added. “All that is work in progress.”

If adjudication shows that they were wrongfully detained for 7 years, they should be compensated.
I can’t disagree with your statement (’if wrongfully detained’).
I wonder what the prevailing wage is for terrorists… And if their own countries won’t take them, why don’t we just put them back where we found them.
