Thank you for your help and support in this campaign. I met so many wonderful people during the course of this election. I had the once in a life time opportunity to be invited into people’s homes and talk to them about why we love Alabama and the future of our state. I firmly believe that there is much more that unites us than divides us.
Regardless of what candidate you supported your involvement is essential to promoting the conservative cause. Whether you made a contribution (large or small), voted, or stood at a poll your efforts can and make a difference in our state and nation.
April 21st is right around the corner. Please stay informed and stay involved. To win the election we need high turnout and as many volunteers as possible to help the republican candidate in the general. I look forward to seeing you at one of the Republican events in the future. As I said at the Republican Men’s Breakfast, I’m proud to be a conservative, and I’m proud to be a Republican. You’re first class. When the Lord moves us down a path, he doesn’t always let us know where it leads. But I know this: The manner in which your demeanor, intellect, and values impressed those who met you and you truly represent the ideals that must form the core of our Republican Party. I believe your campaign was just another step in a long journey.
To Roger: It was an honor to serve as your Campaign Manager over the last two months. You opened huge doors and present a future for our Party. You have opened doors for me to become more active as a Republican. It has been a blessing to get to know you, Joi (and the entire Richardson family). We made a lot of good friends along the way as well. God Bless you! To everyone else: I have to reiterate what Roger says…thank you for all of the support and words of encouragement. STAY ACTIVE !!!! We not only need more minority conservatives like Mr Richardson in the GOP. As the last few years have proven we need more white conservatives in the party as well. I never met you Mr Richardson but good luck to you sir!
