It’s time to be patriotic
Back in September Joe Biden intoned, “It’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.” The comments caused quite a stir at the time, but now we know who he was really talking to: Barack Obama’s future cabinet.
Former Sen. Tom Daschle’s failure to pay his taxes on time isn’t expected to derail his confirmation as health secretary for the Obama administration, Republicans and Democrats say.
Daschle, the South Dakota Democrat chosen to lead President Obama’s health reform efforts, recently filed amended tax returns to report $128,203 in back taxes and $11,964 in interest, according to a Senate document obtained by The Associated Press.

Should be intresting to see Obama/Biden’s tax returns, a true patriot will of course take no deductions or act in any way to reduce their taxes due.
Frankly, there is a certain appeal to the head IRS guy believing you don’t have to pay your taxes and if caught all you have to do is say “oops”
