		<description>I can't believe Spencer suggested replacing the brick sidewalks downtown with concrete - they're one of the few picturesque sights. Guess that's the same thinking that gave us that eyesore of a courthouse from the 1960s. Greenville, South Carolina has done a fabulous job revitalizing their downtown. Huntsville would do well to learn from it.</description>

I would have to say Tommy Battle took that debate.  He was able to make some solid points, while effectively deflecting most criticism.  He also looked the most mayoral.

I have to give Jackie Reed some kudos.  She has a lot of fight and really cares about this city.  Right or wrong, you know her heart is in the right place.</description>
