Brian, I also drove around a few precincts to get an idea of the turnout (my guess of “over 20%” compared to actual of “almost 20%”).

Voting was ‘heavy’ at Blossomwood and Chapman and Mountain View, light at Jackson Way and the Showers Center.

Who knows, though, maybe she has strong support in the homeless community.

Thanks Reactionary. It’s interesting to see the behind the scenes operation that goes on to make the whole production appear seamless to the listeners.

Wayne Parker’s campaign had a decidedly non-homeless man and probably HS age girl handing out cookies at my polling place.

Good show this morning on Dale Jackson - WVNN. I waited until the end of the show to go vote.

Voting: I’d describe it as heavy light turnout, it seemed like one third of the turnout for the Presidential primary (at least at my precinct - IIRC Prez was 70%, so this turnout might be over 20%). This from looking at the machine count at same time of day.

My precinct is usually 60% Dem, but GOP voting was 3 to 1 (sign-in sheets and total numbers from the machines). I think that the sales tax increase is in trouble.

Cheryl Baswell-Guthrie had about six “supporters” outside the polling place, “greeting” voters and “waving” signs. I use “quotes” because the “supporters” appeared to me to be paid volunteers from the Rescue Mission (all male), the “greeting” was tentative and unenthusiastic and only from one guy; and the guys were only “waving” their signs for the breeze…

Where is your endorsement that will bring one of the candidates over the top Brian…Reactionary??? J/K… It is going to be hard to beat Parker Griffith no matter who wins the primary.

BTW, I’m pulling for Matt Chancey for PSC President.
