Barack Obama thinks our freedoms should be subject to international approval.
From the AFP Wire:
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.
Obama just said that we need global permission to drive, eat, or be comfortable in our homes. Am I just an old school patriot to think that we shouldn’t have to ask France’s permission if we want to wipe our posteriors with double ply toilet paper?

On a more serious note, when it comes to issues, what defeats candidates, is their own mouth. Obama is revealing himself to be quite the transnational progressive.
