Saturn V to be listed as one of the 7 Wonders of America?
I’m home this morning watching the kids and just caught a little gimmick that Good Morning America is running called the 7 Wonders of America. They assembled a panel of six experts to determine which landmarks should make the short list. The final list won’t be announced until May 5th, but during a teaser this morning they showed a few fleeting images of what are presumably the winners. One of the seven shown was the Saturn V rocket on display at the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
Keep in mind that GMA didn’t explicitly say that the Saturn V was one of the final seven, but it would certainly be exciting to see it make the list.

When I was at Southern, the scrap yard behind the dorm had one waiting to be cut up. Impressive piece of machinery. It fitted with an apollo capsule should be one of the 7 wonders.
