Reminds me of a case we had back in my ABI days when a woman traded her husband’s riding lawn mower as a down payment to have him whacked. Fortunately, the “hit man” was one of our agents.

If a used lawn mower was just the down payment what would have paid off the balance? A fertilizer spreader?
