Bud Cramer not seeking re-election
Posted by BrianAfter 18 years in Congress, U.S. Rep. Bud Cramer plans to step down as the representative of North Alabama.
As the surprising news spread among party officials this afternoon, Cramer sent an email announcing that he will not seek a 10th two-year term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Should be quite a scrum to see who takes his place. Ray McKee’s odds just went up a bit.

Total shocker to me. For some reason I don’t think McKee will be the only (R) contesting for the seat.
My money will be on Brooks, but who knows…Maybe Dale J. will take that voice of his all the way to DC.

I completely agree. I was thinking this morning that the smart money for the GOP side would be with Mo right now (if he decides to run).

Hehe, looks like Dale liked my post judging by the reply promo I heard tonight. I figured I would stroke the ego a little.
