Leonardo da Vinci exhibit coming to Huntsville
Posted by BrianA temporary exhibit including 16 models of Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions is coming to the Huntsville Museum of Art starting today and continuing through the 27th of April.
As a mechanical engineer and all around tech geek, da Vinci is one of my historic idols. On a trip to France a few years ago I had the opportunity to visit his final residence in Amboise in the Loire Valley. At the Clos Luce manor is a similar display of his inventions and sketches. It was a fascinating exhibit that I highly recommend if you ever happen to be in the area.
I’m definitely going to try to make it to the Huntsville exhibit.

I try to catch the special exhibits, a recent favorite of mine was the ‘arms and armor collection’.
