Bubba is coming to Huntsville.

Former President Bill Clinton plans to attend a fundraiser for presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in Huntsville on Saturday.

The former president may also attend a public campaign rally here, just days ahead of the state’s Feb. 5 primary election. Hillary Clinton has not announced plans to attend.

Late today, Clinton campaign workers and security officials here scouted potential locations for a public event. The private fundraiser, costing a minimum of $1,000 per person, is at the home of attorney Tommy Siniard and his wife Susan in Jones Valley.

But that’s not all!  The “other” man from Hope will be here as well.  McCain will be making a stop in Birmingham.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is planning a second trip to Alabama to rally support for the presidential primary on Tuesday.

Huckabee’s Alabama co-chairman, Paul Reynolds, said Huckabee will make stops Saturday in Huntsville, Tuscaloosa and Montgomery. The details are still being worked out, but Reynolds said Huckabee decided to return after having a successful rally last Saturday in Birmingham.

Another Republican candidate, Arizona Senator John McCain, will be campaigning in Birmingham on Saturday.
