You can’t make this stuff up.  From WTVY:

Several Wiregrass ranchers say something large and unusually powerful has been killing their cattle.

A California-based research team believes the culprit is a creature, often referred to as “Big Foot”.

The team is looking for bigfoot not far from where my parents own some land near the Coffee/Geneva county line.  I implored my parents to not get caught on film looking for a fictional creature.

The Enterprise Ledger has more:

Monday afternoon, Biscardi and his team of five investigators, arrived from Oklahoma at the home of Charles Creel in the Battens community. The team will stay for three days collecting evidence that Big Foot and a “family pod” may be roaming in woods along a creek on more than 1,000 acres of land.

Three weeks ago, Biscardi said he sent a prelimentary [sic] team of investigators to the Battens community.

“I don’t go to a place like this unless there has been evidence showing that a family pod of Big Foot may be in these woods,” he said. “The prelimentary [sic] team found footprints that seem to belong to an unknown creature and that’s why we came all the way from a site in Oklahoma. We believe that there may be more evidence here and if there is, we’ll find it.”

Biscardi said he believed there were more than 3,500 Big Foots across America.

“They are nomads. They never stay at a place very long and they only hunt at night. I’ve been doing this for 34 years and I’ve seen enough evidence to believe that there is a type of an unknown creature that exists,” he said.

Biscardi claims to have evidence of a Big Foot skeleton, a hand and hair sample of the creature.

It’s hard to believe that with all the “evidence” Biscardi’s hard work has turned up that the only proof we have of the creatures existence is some grainy film and some unidentified animal remnants.

Creel said he had been in contact with Biscardi and his team for about a year.

“There’s a big cattle farm here with thousands of acres and we found two cows with their necks broken and all their inside organs taken out. Whatever or whoever it was just left the meat,” he said. “There were another two cows that disappeared.”

What about aliens?  Duh!

The team looking for bigfoot has a website of course.  And the owner is a determined fellow.

“I’m very serious about this or I wouldn’t have been in it for 34 years,” he said. “I know it exists. I just have to prove it to the whole world.”

Biscardi said his journey on this quest would end the minute a Big Foot is captured live.

So in other words the poor guy is never going to get to retire.
