This Congress is no different. It spends like drunken sailors. But now the President has decided enough it enough. You're absolutely right that its action long overdue. But it is also a reminder to me at least, why I have always believed that when one party controls both houses of Congress and the executive branch we all suffer. Ripofflicans lost control of Congress because the electorate got fed up with its spendthrift ways. This Congress is no different. It spends like drunken sailors.
