9.25 FM / 770 AM WVNN is a local Huntsville area talk station. From what I understand, Murphy will be on a different 92.5 FM station broadcast out of Birmingham.

The Huntsville 92.5 FM has Sean Hannity on from 2-5 pm and since Sean got his start at the station I seriously doubt they would quit running his show.

This is bad......................... I liked Russ and Dee ( when they were there), I could tolerate Lee Davis, but I really enjoyed Matt Murphy. I read here he is going to 850 AM. I have read on another blog that he will be on 92.5 FM / 770 AM. ?? I guess we can keep checking his web site to see where he lands. If anyone reads this and they are like me, which means they only listened, never called and really never used the advertisers of The Source, I hope you have learned the lesson I have......................... If you don't participate and use the people who advertise this will happen again. I have learned my lesson, have you ??

[...] It looks like Birmingham’s 101.1 The Source just died — or the the portion remaining after they fired Russ and Dee and brought Hank Irwin on board. As I’ve been a guest on their programs and even guest-hosted there before, it will be missed by me. The good news is that my old buddy Matt Murphy seems to still have a job. [...]

Brian the Brain:

Your cool banner that greets individual visitors by name is very welcoming, but it can lead the delusional among us into thinking we're being individually recognized for our thought-provoking contributions.

But it's still very cool.

Just curious.

So often that I didn't even notice! If memory serves, I frequently spelled my name that way up until the fourth grade.

That's good news Jeff - as long as I can receive that station up here in Huntsville! My wife and I will both go into withdrawal if we can't listen to him.
