Albertville Child Abducted
Posted by BrianA five year old boy was abducted in Albertville this morning and an Amber Alert was issued. The child has not been found yet.
Obviously, no one wants any harm to come to the young boy, but his mom should face neglect charges. She left him asleep in the back of her car with the keys in the vehicle. She went into the store with her boyfriend, presumably an adult, and her 7-year-old daughter.
Look, I know its a hassle, but NEVER leave any of your kids in the car when you run into a store, even for a couple of minutes. However, if you feel that you must, don’t leave the damn keys in the car with the doors unlocked. If you have another adult with you then one of you should stay with the child.
Don’t expect this lady to get any mother of the year nominations.

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing. They were reporting the story on the news last night, and I kept saying to my husband, “Why didn’t they call DHR on her for leaving the child in th car?”
I’m actually planning to blog on this story a little later, only I’m expanding the subject to one of my other pet peeves.
