Let’s start off with a little word associativity!

Leigh Tiffen is to Arkansas what John Vaughn is to _______.

As expected, the Bama/Arkansas game was a race to the bottom.  Other than special teams, Bama looked like the better team.  The Hogs’ quarterback, Mitch Mustain, is too young and immature to be playing.  He made numerous poor decisions.  Bama made him pay for some, but not all.  He may be a great quarterback one day, but on Saturday he still looked like a high school quarterback.  That play the Houston Nutt called late in the fourth quarter where, coming off a time out, the team was huddled near the sideline and one player ran to where the ball was spotted and did a lateral hike was awesome.  Bama was lucky to keep the runner from the end zone.  It’s beginning to look like a five loss season for the boys from T-town.

Never trust Michigan St. to hold a lead.

Auburn went through the motions and got a W.  Expect a good bit more intensity and effort this Thursday when they travel to South Carolina.

Whodathunkit: Rutgers is 4-0.  Colorado is 0-4.  Discuss among yourselves.
