A judge in California is prepared to rule that students in that state do not have to have an eighth grade proficiency in math or a tenth grade proficiency in English in order to graduate.  Note that to graduate you have to successfully pass twelve grades.

Ten ostensibly very dumb kids filed a lawsuit claiming that the state’s requirement that they pass graduation exams was not fair because all schools are not equal.
