Throwing Money at a Problem
Posted by BrianIf you think the education system is not up to par what do you do? Most politicians and judges throw money at the problem. But what do you do when throwing money at the problem doesn’t work?
Imagine if market forces dictated the quality of education. Pretend that $10,000 per pupil was made available to parents and they could send their child to any school they wanted. Children would be pulled from failing schools (thus giving them an incentive to improve) and enrolled in better schools. It’s really quite simple.
